Now that spring is in full bloom focusing on being inside isn’t always ideal. So, we have you covered with our Spicy Thai fried rice bowl! You can use pre-cooked rice to quickly get this in your tummy. Full of protein and complex carbs this is a delightful meal that the whole family can enjoy. We have also added fresh cut pineapple to add some sweetness to this spicy treat. 

Don’t forget to buy our Thai Direct Thai Hot Sauce which is what really gives our rice bowl its unique taste. This bowl is great for any weeknight dinner or leftovers. What you’ll need to make 4 - 6 Servings: 

3 Tbsp - Canola / Sesame oil 
1 Medium Onion - Peeled and Roughly Chopped 
2 Carrots, Peeled and Finely Minced 
½ Cup - Pineapple, chopped 
1 Tbsp - Garlic, Minced 
1 Tbsp - Ginger, Minced 
3 - 4 Cups Cooked White Rice or Frozen Thai Rice - Thai Direct 
4 - 6 Eggs - per serving 
Salt/Pepper - to taste 
½ Cup of Minced Scallions 
Thai Direct Thai Hot Sauce - to taste 

What You’ll Need to Do:

  1. Put half of the oil into the a large skillet / wok and turn the heat on high.
  2. Add onions, carrots, and pineapple to the pan. Stir occasionally until softened. Remove vegetables when cooked. 
  3. Put remaining oil in the skilled, followed by the ginger and garlic. When the mix of the two is fragrant, add the rice and toss it in the oil. 
  4. When the rice is well coated in the oil, make a well in the center and break the eggs into it. Scramble these, then stir into the rice. 
  5. Return the sauteed vegetables to the skillet and stir to integrate. Add salt and pepper to taste. 
  6. Fry eggs in a separate pan. Until overeasy. 
  7. Turn off heat, stir in the scallions in the pan with rice. Serve in individual plates and add eggs. Drizzle Thai Direct Thai Hot Sauceover and serve. :)
