Being based in NYC we are realizing Spring weather isn’t coming anytime soon. So to make sure our bellies and bodies stay warm, we decided to create a Thai inspired meaty chili! For the health conscious, rest assured chili is chock full of protein, fiber, and metabolic starter capsaicin from the Thai Chilies.

This delicious chili can be eaten straight out of the bowl with a nice piece of cornbread or even dip a hearty chip into it. The leftovers will taste just as good, if not better when you reheat! If you need a little more heat then don’t hesitate to add more Thai Direct's Thai Hot Sauce

How many servings:

10 - bowls

What you’ll need:

1 Large Pot

2 lbs - Lean Ground Turkey

1 tsp - Garlic Powder

¼ Cup - Thai Direct's Thai Hot Sauce

1 Can - 32 oz - Tomato Sauce

2 tsp - Kosher Salt

2 tsp - White Granulated Sugar

1 Can - 16 oz - Kidney Beans (drained)

1 Can - 16 oz - Black Beans (drained)

1 Can - 16 oz - Italian Diced Tomatoes with juices

6 Cloves - Minced Garlic

3 Large - Green Peppers, deseeded and chopped

2 Medium Onions, Chopped

1 tsp - Cumin

¼ tsp Allspice


Shredded Sharp Cheddar - 1 Cup

What you’ll need to do:

  1. Brown the ground turkey along with the Garlic Powder and  Kosher Salt.( Drain the excess fat if any)
  2. Place all of the remaining ingredients into the pot and stir well until combined.
  3. Bring to a simmer and let simmer covered for 4 hours. Stirring occasionally)
  4. Serve hot and garnish with cheddar (if preferred)  
  5. Bon Appétit
